Training

In order for our taxi drivers to provide the best service, we have the most comprehensive in-house driver training course available in South Australia. Our taxi drivers complete a comprehensive accredited course for their taxi driving accreditation that covers everything from customer service standards and behaviour to security cameras and alarms. In addition, corporate client systems, procedures and in car dispatch systems are covered. Our taxi drivers also complete a practical driving test along with a component involving regulations and customer communications.

Safety

Safety is always at the forefront of our service. With this in mind all of our vehicles are fitted either with security cameras or are GPS tracked. Our taxi drivers have also undergone a national criminal check and a child related employment screening and always display a photo ID accreditation to ensure transparency for the passenger.

Elite

Providing Adelaide's only superior taxi service. Our tourism accredited elite fleet provides a service cut above for the rest, for our corporate customers or those looking for a premium travel experience. Our elite drivers, all with a clean driving record, must complete 1000 hours with Suburban Taxis to be considered. Their vehicles and uniform are also regularly inspected to ensure a high quality experience.

Local Knowledge

As part of our approved training course, our drivers must pass a local knowledge written test. We test not only central and well know places but also outer suburban knowledge, ensuring they can always take you to your destination.
